The Senior Center is located at: 145 Thompson Road, Hoffman, NC.

(Direction: Cross the railroad tracks at School Street and bear right onto Butler Drive. Go past the Hoffman Recreation Center and turn right onto Thompson Road. The building is about 500 feet down the road on the right.)

NEEDED
15 Passenger Handicap Bus

Our Senior Center is almost ready to open. We are in need of a handicap bus to help transport our seniors to and from the senior center as well as to doctor appointments, shopping, trips, etc. This bus needs to seat 12 passengers with a place for 2 wheelchairs plus the driver. If you know of any means by which we can get a bus, please let us know. Transportation is a vital part of our center and our seniors depend on it to go where they need to go. Help us provide this valuable service to our seniors in Hoffman and surrounding areas.

We are also looking for volunteers to help us with programs at the center such as making crafts, teaching landscaping, gardening, cooking, pottery, computers, reading to our seniors, taking them for walks, and help with scheduling events and activities.

Our center will provide activities, meals, socializing and transportation to doctor appointments, shopping, field trips, and events, etc. If you have skills and want to donate your time to help our seniors, please fill out our Volunteer Form to sign up. Help us give our seniors something to look forward to each day by supporting our cause. We accept all donations and we are a 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax deductible.
